Have You Experienced a Catastrophic Business Loss?

Have You Experienced a Catastrophic Business Loss?

Honestly, we hope you haven’t! Some losses are simply unavoidable. These could be the result of unavoidable circumstances or a simple failure of imagination. Since we’ve been in this business a long time, we’ve seen just about everything. In fact, very little surprises us anymore. But more importantly, we can help you avoid loss by mitigating risks and developing contingency plans for quick recovery from a data loss disaster. BUT, if you’re dealing with a crisis right now...

Disaster Recovery Plan
Call us immediately if you have experienced any of the following business loss and need to get back up as quickly as possible:

  • Ransomware
  • Malware or Virus
  • Phishing
  • Spyware / Recording Key Strokes
  • Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS)
  • Hacked Network or Server
  • Fire (Including wildfires spreading)
  • Building Damage
  • Loss of Power for extended periods
  • City-Wide Riots or Civil Unrest
  • Snowstorms
  • Tornadoes or Hurricanes
  • Compromised or Hacked IT Department
  • Hardware Stolen
  • Employee Sabotage
  • Faulty Backups
  • Rogue File Sharing Instances
  • DNS Rerouted
  • Email or Website Hacked

Not too long ago, an employee would carry a briefcase home (perhaps handcuffed to his/her wrist). Inside, there was a single tape backup containing all vital business information that would ensure a successful recovery against catastrophic loss. Those days are gone!

Disaster Recovery Plan

Today, the need to have an ironclad recovery plan is even more pressing. Even with cloud backups and failover servers, the digital world is still far from safe. A business loss comes in many forms and fashions. For instance, it may come from things beyond your control, such as a fire, hurricane, tornado, ice storms building collapse, etc. Others come from types of theft, such as employees, burglaries, data breaches, data sabotage, and malware (such as viruses and ransomware). There are even threats that exist if your current IT provider utilizes cloud-based management software that is breached... as was the case for IT Departments and MSP's utilizing software from Kaseya or Solarwinds. We are now witnessing another form of disaster with the COVID 19 pandemic. What would happen if your employees went on strike and left your IT infrastructure at risk? The threats are endless!

Perhaps there’s no worse feeling than realizing your data is gone, and you could have had a plan to prevent its loss. At SUURV, we get calls from many companies that talked about a disaster recovery (DR) plan for years, but never finished implementing it. Tragically, we have even received calls from businesses that had a DR plan, but when they tried to execute it, the plan failed. We are always ready to help, but we wish someone had advised them to test the plan first, and then make improvements. We took this bit of advice from an active duty Navy Seal.

SUURV knows your data is important and strives every day to have a data recovery plan no matter the circumstances. Although we would like to claim that our company can prevent every breach at a 100% success rate, this is simply not possible for any IT provider or security company. Our company takes an approach that mitigates all types of risk based on your level of comfort. Yet, we prioritize data integrity so that it can be restored in the event of a breach.

Please understand, there is no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to DR. Some companies will need data restored on an up-to-the-minute basis. Others will require it on a weekly basis. Some of our clients have servers replicated over multiple regions for redundancy.

We are unlike other MSP Providers in this way. We take a proactive approach to disaster recovery, and it is in the forefront of what we offer all our clients. Most MSPs offer DR as an “add-on.” For SUURV, DR is more than an afterthought or an upsell opportunity. Disaster Recovery is what we name our firstborn children. Not really, but you get the gist.

Here is our commitment to you, even before we meet face to face. We will work with your business to identify a DR plan and make sure your company can execute on it if the need ever arises. “So, who ya gonna call?” SUURV, the Hacker Busters!” Background audio playing...
